Welcome to our adventure! We’re Jamie and Lucy, a passionate couple from Dorset, currently living out our dream on the open road.
Our Mission
We’re on a mission to blend work and travel seamlessly, exploring North and South America while living full-time in our van. Our goal is to inspire others by sharing our adventures and showing that freedom and meaningful travel can go hand in hand.
Our Values
Our journey is fueled by a love for adventure, nature, embracing new experiences and pushing our limits. We value genuine connections with people and cultures, sharing these interactions with our readers while practicing responsible and sustainable travel. Through it all, we aim to spread positivity and inspire others to enjoy their own adventures.
We’ve traded our usual routine for an extraordinary journey across North and South America in our trusty Left-hand drive, dual rear-wheeled and rear driven, 2011 Ford Transit Jumbo van, which we’ve lovingly converted into our cozy campervan. We shipped our van from the UK to North America and are now embarking on an epic road trip along the West Coast and beyond, spanning roughly eighteen months of exploration and discovery.
Our van is more than just a vehicle; it’s our home, our office, and our gateway to adventure. As dedicated outdoor enthusiasts, we’re drawn to nature’s wonders and seek out thrilling experiences in every destination. Whether it’s hiking through ancient forests, surfing Pacific waves, or exploring hidden trails, our journey is fuelled by a deep love for the great outdoors.
To support our travels, we’re both working remotely, allowing us to live in the van full-time while continuing to fund our adventure. This setup not only gives us the freedom to explore at our own pace but also ensures we can stay connected and productive as we chase sunsets and seek out new landscapes.
Our blog and social media will be filled with updates from the road, sharing our experiences, tips on van life, and the breathtaking beauty we encounter. From the highs of climbing mountains to the lows of van breakdowns, we’ll be documenting every moment of our journey, offering a window into our nomadic lifestyle and the joys and challenges of life on the road.
